A Novel Idea

I had an interesting experience today. Maybe 'cause I was in an ornery/pensive mood. Not involving anyone else, I had a sort of epiphany...except that I wouldn't really call it that. It was more like, "Hey! Start paying attention, 'cause this has been happening FOREVER!" If that makes sense, then you may know what I am talking about here.

I realized today that some people are eternally stupid prats. Not like I have any room to talk, but I know I'm not as bad as some of the idiots out there. I'm not gonna point any fingers or name anyone (Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, etc...haha. I love political humor.) However, those people have lost nearly all respect from me in a short period of time for just a few reasons:

1. They try WAY too hard to be cool, and so they resort to swearing and distasteful insults. Not joking, either, but actual insults that are intended to bring people down to the lowest level possible. Nothing shows idiocy more than a person that cannot keep his/her cool, and resorts to vile, crude, and vulgar insults. How long will it take?

2. They are so incredibly condescending to others that they reek of selfishness and pride. "We're going to save the world from utter destruction." Get off your high horse, Mr. and Mrs. Holier than Thou. How long will it take?

3. They don't ever try to lift people up. Have you ever noticed that the "prats/idiots" don't ever give compliments? They may say something along the lines of "That was sick," but it's only when other "cool" people say 'em first, and they're never sincere. Seriously, stop faking it, 'cause we can tell when you're not sincere, so why bother? Either find something nice to say, or don't say anything at all! (Name the movie?) How long will it take?

4. If you're gonna try to be funny, keep it clean. No one normal appreciates crude humor. At least, not anyone with any taste whatsoever. How long will it take?

5. If you're not tough, don't act like it. Self-explanatory. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?!?!?!


So anyway, like I said, this might not make sense to you. Then again, it might. Yeah, I'm a little weird, but whatever. Feel free to comment, 'cause I like having online conversations.
